The Search for a Vein Expert

After a meticulous search, Laura Garvey, M.D., a highly-qualified, board-certified provider, was selected to join the MetroDerm team. Dr. Garvey came on board in September 2017. She specializes in the treatment of all venous diseases and works with patients in the Johnson Ferry/Perimeter location.

A Highly-Qualified Doctor

Dr. Garvey’s curriculum vita is extensive and impressive. She was an Echols Scholar and member of Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Virginia where she was awarded her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. In 1995 she was graduated from the University of California Medical School in Los Angeles. Her residency and fellowship training in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery were completed at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2002. Dr. Garvey was registered as a Vascular Technologist in 2007.
