Dr. Degesys is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Degesys left her hometown and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude as a pre-medical student with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Degesys earned her medical degree at Vanderbilt University’s School of Medicine. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University’s Medical Center, Dr. Degesys started her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and finished at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She was also selected to complete a fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.

Dr. Degesys enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, family and friends. cooking, traveling, and playing with her dog.
